Shimmering Surfaces:Consider Lurex-inflected jersey to elevate casual loungewear, introducing a new take on heathered materials

Go green: biodegradable polymers in sustainable blends address the entire lifecycle of garments. Roica’s GRS-certified yarns have become a key commodity.

Performance: shape, swim and athleisure wear are ever more technical. Eight-way stretch, anti-microbial and chlorine-resistant qualities increase performance.

Subdued animal motifs: spots and scales adhere to a natural palette, drawing on forest and foliage-inspired hues rather than garish fashion-led tones.

Tactile surfaces: tone-on-tone jacquards with raised motifs look to nature for a subtle 3D effect. Increased pins on Jacquardtronic lace yield raised finishes.

Flower power: retro daisies return across mesh, lace and guipure constructions, as suppliers focus on the classicism of overtly romantic blooms.

Graphic Sheers: Superfine, gauzy knits remain key for high summer, updated with delicate yarns and undulating stitch effects. Create flame and chevron patterns or use stitch to distort stripes. Offset matte and shine or soft and smooth textures, contrasting viscose, silk, cotton and superfine cashmere with eco-nylon filaments.
